EFI Zámek Račice
We offer our guests accommodation in Forecastle, where they can find both tourist accommodation and luxury rooms and apartments with terrace. In Forecastle we have built a multifunctional hall Konírna, which is suitable for weddings, corporate parties or training sessions. The hall is directly adjacent to the EFI Pub Konírna and it is possible to use the adjacent terrace with seating or an outdoor party tent for up to 50 people.
In the newly renovated building of the former inn and barn, which we have called Undercastle, we offer 11 stylishly furnished apartments for 2-4 people, a common room with a bar and fireplace, an equipped kitchen and an outdoor swimming pool with terraces for sunbathing. You can also rent the chateau as a whole building with appropriate facilities for gastronomy and relaxation.
In the main building of the castle, both castle tours are open daily (Tue - Sun, no tours on Mondays) since the beginning of the summer holidays and our guides are looking forward to seeing you!
ABOUT RAČICE CASTLE
In the 15th century the castle was moved to a Renaissance chateau. In 1830 it was purchased by the textile magnate Baron Jan Mundy. His successor, Philip von Schöller, turned the castle into a tastefully furnished residence.
In September 1938 the castle became the seat of the General Staff of the Czechoslovak Army. After the war, the building was successively occupied by the Prostějov OP, a primary school, a vocational school and a children's home.
In 2017, the castle was bought at auction by the Brno company e-Finance, a.s.

ACCOMMODATION IN A UNDERCASTLE
In the newly reconstructed building of the former gamekeeper's lodge and barn, which we named Undercastle, we offer 11 stylishly furnished apartments for 2-4 people, a communal room with a bar and a fireplace, and an outdoor swimming pool with sunbathing terraces.
WEDDING AT THE CASTLE
We would be delighted to arrange and execute your wedding ceremony under the open sky or in the intriguing interior of the historical spaces of Račice Castle. We provide various options for the ceremony and celebration, such as the courtyard, castle garden, chapel, or grand halls. For a classic and grand style, we recommend an indoor wedding ceremony within the castle, for instance, in the Fireplace Hall. If you prefer an outdoor wedding, you will surely appreciate the courtyard or the outdoor spaces of the "Předzámčí" area. The newly reconstructed "Konírna" in "Předzámčí" beautifully combines modern style with the castle's architecture, with a capacity of approximately 80 people. The outdoor area is complemented by a marquee for up to 50 people.
We are also pleased to arrange wedding decorations, inventory, catering, and other services for you.
CELEBRATIONS, CORPORATE EVENTS AT THE CASTLE
If you're seeking an unforgettable venue for your celebration, meeting, party, or any other family or corporate event, don't forget about Račice Castle. You can choose from various spaces according to your preferences. For instance, we offer the newly reconstructed banquet hall of Konírna in the Forecastle area, which is perfect for conferences, training sessions, team building, celebrations, and weddings. You'll also be pleased with the multimedia TV and sound system. You can also rent the entire Undercastle building, where you'll find a communal room with a fireplace, a self-service bar, and a taproom, including appropriate kitchen facilities and equipment. In collaboration with the team of chefs led by Mgr. Jan Malinka from the EFI SPA**** Hotel Superior & Brewery, we can create catering exactly according to your preferences.
CASTLE TOURS
In the first tour circuit, "Piano nobile," you can look forward to educational panels with visualizations of the castle. Here, you'll see how the castle looked in historical periods when the owners significantly changed its appearance. We also have an animated surprise for you.
The second tour circuit, "Castle cellars and the castle's economic background," will introduce you to the rock-carved cellar spaces, the technology of historical heating for living areas, and other interesting features.
